Paul Dunmall
Just to say that the François Louis ligatures
are the best around and that I have tried some of his new
reeds when I met him in Brussels in February. I have been waiting for years
to find good reeds like
these. If they stay this consistent I will not play any other again! François
is a great craftsman and he
really knows his subject. He gets my full support.
Paul Dunmall is from England. He has been playing the saxophone for 38
years.
Earl V. Belcher, Jr.
I am writing to congratulate you on your wonderful
concept. I am now using the Ultimate Tenor
Ligature on an old Bob Dukoff Hollywood Metal Mouthpiece. My1937 Selmer
Balance Action Tenor
Saxophone really sounds much better. I can hear the difference from my
ligature that I had been
using for years.

Christian de Bauve
It's the perfect ligature: simple, light, and easy
to use. It doesn't obstruct the propagation of vibrations
and it improves greatly the quality of the sound. It is the ligature I
was awaiting for years... It holds the
reed without compressing it, leaving the dose of pressure to the convenience
of the interpreter where
and when he or she wants it. Thank you François.
Christian de Bauve is solo clarinet of the "Belgian Guides" and professor

Bruxelles".
Joe Lovano about François Louis
"... He is the greatest..."
Cleveland born Joe Lovano plays tenor saxophone all around the globe.
Gary Keller
François Louis ligatures are the best!
Jazz player Gary Keller is teacher of the saxophone class at Miami University.
Jim Saltzman
I recently picked up your "Ultimate Ligature" and
I have to tell you that it is an unbelievable ligature... I
never realized just how much of a difference a ligature can make! The sound
just opened up.
Everything feels easier to play from the lowest note to the altissimo register.
Great job!
NY based Jim Saltzman is a renowned saxophonist and composer.
Eiji Taniguchi
The strong points of your ligature are shown to the
full in the fact that I can get a clear, concrete and
bright sound. It gives me the flexibility to control the sound and the
warmth at the same time. I can
cope jazz, popular and classical music with just one ligature, even when
using the same reed and
mouthpiece.
